OUR HISTORYThis Is Your Season Ministries is a group of women within the Body of Christ that all attend different churches in the DFW area. We are devoted to volunteering our time in sharing the Love of God with men and women locally as well as around the world, by encouraging them to give their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We focus on building up the individual members of the Body of Christ as well as leaders to be strong in three areas:
BIBLE STUDY We started with a weekly Woman’s Bible Study in 2002, which we continue to this day. We host retreats and conferences across the United States and the nations. COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS In 2005 we partnered with the city of Rockwall, Texas and its churches to minister to the hundreds of families who came to our community after Hurricane Katrina. Community of Believers was birthed out of this time. Now we operate a local food pantry and assist those who are in need as well as the local church. PRAYER Prayer is a cornerstone of this ministry. Since 2004, we have coordinated the National Day of Prayer for Rockwall; we have weekly prayer for our community, nation, and the world; and monthly Prayer Walks for our schools. In 2014 we started having Praise and Worship in the community. Now since 2018 the next generation is gathering Believers in the community to worship and pray in unity for our community. MISSIONS Many doors have opened up to minister God's love to the nations. Since 2006 we have traveled to 30 Nations preaching the gospel and spiritually supporting the pastors. WORSHIP ENCOUNTERS In 2008 the Lord asked us to have a gathering of the body of Christ to minister to Him. These Worship Encounters greatly please the Lord and He has shown up in marvelous ways. He has been teaching us Prophetic Worship as He pours out His heart to us through the singers and musicians who gather from across the globe with the sole desire to worship God. NEW GENERATION INTERNATIONAL WORSHIP INSTITUTE In 2009, God placed upon our hearts to minister to the next generation. We established New Generation International Worship Institute. This is a discipleship program for young adults from all over the world where they can come and study the Word of God, intercessory prayer, evangelism and worship. They will then be equipped to go back to their countries and minister the love of God in a more profound way. HIDDEN TREASURES OF THE SECRET PLACE God has revealed so much of His Word and we are not to keep it for ourselves. In the last few years the Lord has developed and brought together an amazing group of writers to share the Hidden Treasures of His Word to those around the world. We opened up Hidden Treasures, a book store to distribute the books of the writers associated with the ministry and other books that we are studying from time to time. In 2012, we established the Coming Messenger, a website to freely distribute the Bible studies, conference messages, and prophetic worship in written, audio, and video. |
